Bob Moore Coach Dan Culver
Junior Varsity Coach

Coach Culver is in his 3rd year of coaching high school wrestling.

Mr. Culver began wrestling at Harford Technical High School, where he was a County Champion and "All County" Wrestler with only two years of Varsity experience. Coach Culver was also a very successful Linebacker and Fullback garnering "All County" honors in football as well. After graduating from the Emergency Services Program, he enlisted in the US Navy immediately following the attacks on September 11th. Coach Culver served honorably in the Navy onboard a fast attack submarine for six years where he received many awards and medals for his excellent devotion to service and outstanding leadership. Following his discharge, he began working for Exelon Nuclear as a Maintanence Supervisor at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, putting to use his Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering he earned from Thomas Edison State College.

Less than three months after his discharge, Culver started giving back to the Harford Tech athletic community. The JV football field was the first place Culver arrived. His dedication and willingness to improve the footabll program is second to none. On the wrestling mat, Coach Culver brings that same enthusiasm and commitment.

Culver brings his football, wrestling and mixed-martial arts to the table along with his tremendous leadership skills. He shares the same theory as Coach Siler; he not only strives to make better athletes, he strives to make better people. Culver hopes to improve the athlete's quality of life for many years by stressing important values and morals based on a foundation of honor and commitment.

When he is not coaching or working, you can find Coach Culver involved in numerous activities including playing poker, billiards, horseshoes and paintball. He also enjoys watching football and has a passion for building and driving high performance vehicles. He spends a considerable amount of time with his "babies": a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 750 motorcycle and 2006 Subaru WRX STi.

Coach Watson graduated from Potomac High School and entered the University of Miami Florida with a scholarship for football. He lettered in football and then transferred back to Maryland and attended Salisbury University where he lettered in both football and wrestling. Following graduation, he became a free agent for the Washington Redskins in 1974 and 1975. Soon after, he became a teacher at Potomac High School and coach of the football, basketball and softball teams. Watson moved on to coach football at Salisbury University and in 1993, he came to C. Milton Wright as the assistant varsity coach until 1999. Two years later, Harford Tech hired him as a Physical Education teacher and he took over the responsibility of coaching the football team. Watson keeps himself busy as the Intramural Strength and Conditioning Coach. In 2004, he took over the helm of the Varsity Baseball team and began teaching the new Sports Injury Program.

Many of the Cobra wrestlers have been working with Coach Watson in the on and off-season concentrating on strength and conditioning. He instills a desire in them to stay on task and to work to be the best. Coach Watson adds another dimension to the success of the team.
