Assistant Coach: Mike Taylor
Assistant Coach Mike Taylor Coach Taylor brings eleven years of wrestling experience and five years of coaching to the Cobra Wrestling Team. A Harford Tech alumnus who wrestled briefly at West Virginia University, was one of only three 4X Harford County Champions and 2004 Outstanding Harford County Wrestler, Mike also earned the distinguished honor of being Coach Siler’s first State Champion. Among many tournament championships, Coach Taylor also won numerous Regional and State honors.

Competing in the state and national level, Coach Taylor is familiar with folkstyle, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. Not being a natural athlete like some of his opponents, Mike knows what hard work and dedication in this sport can give you. A technician first, Coach Taylor instills the knowledge that young wrestlers want and the reinforcement of those skills that more seasoned wrestlers need. He is a firm believer in off-season wrestling and working to be the best you can be.

His easy-going personality and attitude earn him the respect of coaches and wrestlers alike. Mike is currently a Simulation Analyst at RTR Technology working for Homeland Security. In his spare time he works on 3-D models, likes to play guitar and hang out with friends.
